3) BP Highland One Platform:
August 14, 1974, the Queen of England was coming to witness her first offshore platform going out into the North Sea.  The Highland One platform is in the background.  My dad, Glynn Cornes, is pictured in the center wearing a hard hat and capturing a picture of the Queen of England. 
4) Governor Edwards with the Louisiana”lads” of Highland One:
October 1974, Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards pictured with the Louisiana Lads of Highland One.  Governor Edwards pictured center with light colored sports coat.  Managing Director of Highland Highland Fabricators, Herb Nelson, pictured to the governor’s right in a black suit.  My dad, Glynn Cornes, is pictured to the right, tallest gentleman standing by the window.
5) Painting of the Newmore House:
My parents commissioned the artist, Donald M. Shearer, to paint a keepsake of the Newmore House before leaving Scotland in May 1975.
